Chris Selland, CEO
As CEO, Chris is responsible for the strategic growth of DipJar, a challenge he readily accepts and meets head on. His passion for building successful teams and broad operating experience in technology companies has led DipJar to its current national recognition.
Prior to DipJar, Chris ran go-to-market and strategic alliance initiatives at a number of leading technology companies, including Unifi Software (acquired by Dell) and Vertica Systems (acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise). He has a BS in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University and an MBA in international business and economics from NYU Stern School of Business.
Chris has served on a number of corporate and non-profit boards, including serving as director of the Needham Memorial Day Tournament, one of the largest youth soccer tournaments in the US.
Adam Vetter, Director of Product
As the Director of Product at DipJar, Adam is responsible for defining DipJar’s product vision and ensuring our products engage donors in the experience of giving to ultimately increase customer success.
Adam brings a wealth of payments knowledge to the DipJar team as he has spent the past 10 years working in the Payments space, specifically with ISOs and Payment Facilitators.
When not at work, Adam enjoys spending time with his family – including his two dogs, riding motorcycles, and flying.
Austin Arnold, Director of Sales
Austin first joined the DipJar team as a Production Designer in 2018, but moved into the Director of Sales role just a year later after working closely with the sales team and becoming a successful leader.
In his role, Austin works to show potential customers the positive impact that DipJar can have on their fundraising efforts. His enthusiasm for relationship-building allows him to create strong relationships with DipJar customers and helps him to provide strong support to transform their fundraising.
When he’s not working, Austin is often traveling, chasing after adventure or seeing a favorite band in concert. As a Boston native, Austin enjoys spending time with family and friends or hitting the links for a round of golf.
Melissa Smith, Director of Marketing
Melissa is the Director of Marketing at Dipjar where she is responsible for building the company’s public outreach and brand relationships, including overseeing a growing social presence and sales partnership profile.
She has worked extensively with local nonprofit businesses in the Pittsburgh area, including Humane Animal Rescue, where she led marketing programs to promote animal adoption. Through her work, Melissa has gained extensive knowledge of the nonprofit sector, experience that enables her to understand DipJar customers and their needs.
Melissa is an avid animal lover with three cats of her own and a revolving door of fosters. Her passion for animals has driven her to spend her free time serving on the board for Biggies Bullies, a foster home based dog rescue in Pittsburgh, PA.
Jason Ouimette, Manager of Customer Support and Success
Jason is DipJar’s Manager of Customer Support and Success, a role he appreciates because of his passion for helping nonprofits make positive change and achieve success. He believes that donating to nonprofits should be an easy process, especially in our technology-rich world.
Prior to joining DipJar, Jason lead Support for a medical device company. In this role, he worked with an interdisciplinary team of engineers where quality and excellence was demanded. He provided pre- and post-sale support to users across the globe, giving him advanced organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
As an avid golfer, he promises to never turn down an invitation to a charity golf tournament. When he’s not golfing, Jason volunteers with the Joslin Diabetes Research Foundation, a mission important to him as he has two close friends living with Type 1 Diabetes.
Jack Sheran, Manager of Operations
As the Operations Manager, Jack ensures customers get their DipJars in time for their fundraising events! Jack joined the team in the spring of 2019 after being impressed by the positive impact DipJar had on its nonprofit customers abilities to successfully raise funds to support their missions.
Jack first became involved in the world of giving after getting involved at a direct level by delivering school and medical supplies to a Quechuan school in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rain Forest.
Outside of work, Jack is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Data Analytics through Southern New Hampshire University’s online program. But, when not running operations at DipJar’s Cambridge location or in class, Jack enjoys hiking the White Mountains of New Hampshire or enjoying the sun in his hometown on Cape Cod.
