How One Nonprofit has Raised $165,000 with DipJar...and Counting!
Loggerhead Marinelife Center has mastered both daily, and event collection with DipJar! Strategic use cases and placement make this nonprofit a DipJar expert. Here’s how they do it:
Daily Donation Collection
This nonprofit sea turtle and ocean conservation hub offers free admission to all guests allowing everybody to enjoy the marinelife. Generous door donations keep this center operating! Loggerhead Marinelife Center sets their 3 DipJars to $10, $15 and $20 and places them in the lobby. The strategic location and variety of dollar amount options helps the center rack in steady donations on a daily basis!
Over $13,000 at One Event!
Beach Bash Palm Beach is an annual winter fundraiser presented by Lily Pulitzer. This event is critical in raising funds for the sea turtle hospital. The center used each of their three DipJars in a unique way to maximize donations and raise over $13,000 in one night!
1. Ticket Sales at the Door
The event’s 700 guests had the opportunity to purchase their $325 ticket at the door. The ease of use and minimal complexity helped to keep the crowd moving into the event.
2. Raffle Ticket Sales
The guests next entered the silent auction and raffle area. A DipJar set to $50 facilitated raffle ticket sales. A double dip got guests a ticket deal!
“The DipJar didn’t take up a lot of space, nobody had to run around with a Square and an iPad.”
-Tim Hannon, COO Logerhead Marinelife Center
3. straight donation collection
There were several vendors at the event doing hair and make-up for the guests. The third DipJar was set to $50 to give donors the opportunity to give an additional donation at this station.
The high dollar amounts and integration of the DipJars into the event’s experiences helped boost the nonprofit’s donation total! Click through the pictures below to see DipJar in action:
