Weekly Fundraising Success Roundup 5/21/2018

We want to help better connect the DipJar community! These weekly roundups will share some of our customer's DipJar tips and best practices. Here are the most creative and successful fundraising stories from the past week:

Women's Lunch Place and Rosie's Place

Remember Women's Lunch Place's mall kiosk? They partnered with another business and doubled the visibility of their DipJars in Boston giving local donors more chances to give. Women's Lunch Place and Rosie's Place, another women's shelter, partnered with restaurant chain Boloco to share free food while helping people in need. Donor's dipped $5 for either charity and walked away with a coupon for a free burrito on their next visit! This fun fundraiser helped the nonprofits and the business gain new supporters while raising money for great causes.

Greentown Labs

Greentown Labs is a startup tackling energy and environmental challenges. They recently had the grand opening of their Global Center for Cleantech Innovation and here's what Community Fellow Cara Goldfarb had to say about the event and the over $1,000 they raised with DipJar:

"While the large majority of event registrations took place before the day of the event, the DipJar was a valued tool as it allowed us to seamlessly collect registration fees from last minute "stragglers". Without it, the flow of traffic into our facility (we had more than 600 event attendees) would not have been nearly as smooth."
