On Thursday, Boo2Bully partnered with Oceana Young Leaders for their fourth annual “Take a Bite Out of Bullying Event”. The two organizations joined forces to work to eradicate bullying of all forms. Their DipJar was used for check-in at the red carpet. With their jar set at $25, buying a ticket to the event was quick and easy for their celebrity allies and donors. Raising $1,125 with DipJar alone, Boo2Bullying had an impressive intake at their event of 200 people! The funds go to the anti-bullying initiatives and back to school programs put in place by Boo2Bullying. Dimitri Halkidis, the Founder and President of Boo2Bullying, said, “DipJar was so easy and great to engage with, people loved it. We used to use Square and there were always complications and now DipJar has been so seamless!”
Since June, Philabundance has let their DipJar do the work to meet their daily collection fundraising goal! Philabundace met their collection goal of $2,500 which was set by a matching donor. At first, they set their jars to $5 and $10 but when they realized how willing donors were to dip, they adjusted their jars to $10 and $20! With their DipJars set on their check-in desk, they seamlessly met their goal within a month! Daily collection paired with a matching donor is a great way to ensure steady fundraising.
